Cross Creek Ranch

Cross Creek Ranch is Malibu’s newest mixed-use retail district and serves as a natural hub for the community. Both the architecture and landscaping were designed by Marmol Radziner Architects, based in Los Angeles.

 

Situated on 13 acres, the developers wanted Cross Creek to be a pedestrian-first development. Marmol Radziner met this challenge by utilizing out-of-sight subterranean parking, and a myriad of outdoor seating areas. Sycamore trees anchor the landscaping, which is accentuated with native grasses and other drought-resistant plants. This development fully embraces the atmosphere of Malibu and was incredible to photograph.
