The Robert Day Science Center is the latest addition on the Claremont McKenna College campus in Los Angeles, California. Designed by the Bjarke Ingels Group and completed in the fall of 2025, it breaks the mold for what an academic building can be.
Like anything designed by BIG, it is a bold architectural statement, but it retains an inviting, student-focused atmosphere. The space invites both organic movement and contemplative study, encourages student interaction, and provides stunning views of the campus. It’s a striking piece of architecture and one that is genuinely engaging to experience.
