Suiden Terrace is a unique boutique hotel nestled in the rice fields of the Yamagata prefecture in North Japan. Created by award-winning architect Shigeru Ban, every inch of the building is designed to encourage contemplation and rest.
Featuring a traditional Japanese spa, a library, paths through the gardens and rice fields, and multiple restaurants, this hotel was a delight to visit and photograph.
